It's a first for us to have a Springer softail owner brought us to do a build, not even mention a HD softail springer 100th anniversary edition, the owner got the bike when he saw it's available, but with some bolt on accessories on the bike already, he then realize he won't be satisfied just owning it as its original springer look, so he contacted me that he want to still be a springer softial, but a Rough Crafts softail springer.
For someone that will buy the softail springer to begin with, obviously he's into that old school vibe, so the one request he has is to keep it a springer softail. So we turned to our friends at Rebuffini for the billet springer forks which equipped with custom Ohlins shocks and a set of BST carbon fiber wheels, Pirelli tires, and Beringer brakes, giving it the exact same silhouette of an old school springer softail, but with a modern bike riding experience. I decided to go with that old school chopper vibe but, as usual, without changing the frame, frisco mounted Rough Crafts "Guerilla" tank, mini ape bars, solo seat and a super short, up sweep rear fender set the silhouette of the whole bike, and some chrome, polished, and brass details to give it a little more old school bling.
