Ever since we built the Graphite Speedster for AMD World Championship freestyle class and won 4th at 2014, the bike was toured around the world and get numerous awards in different shows and was beloved and asked for all these years, but the nature of "freestyle build" means it has an experimental billet top frame with built in suspension, dual front heads, dual FCR carbs'K etc. all these unconventional parts makes it difficult to maintain for regular customers, so I've been thinking about a more "user friendly" version for years, since I love the line so much. So when a customer came in with the love of our bobbers but with a open brief, immediately I know this is the chance to make it happen.
The build won't be as complete with our my long time supporter, Rebuffini got this full billet springer forks that looks super retro but included two custom ordered Ohlins shocks, making it rides like any modern bikes, and the Beringer 4D system's compact look give you that similar vibes to old Harley drum brakes but with super stopping power, I love it so much I even use one half of it for the rear brake too, so it became a 6 discs bike! BT choppers' seat pan/billet frame cover kit also helped for that "modern high tech retro lines" Rough Crafts is known for, the rest basically just flown into place like they should.
